I’ve been working the 4m and 70cm fm bands on the summits lately. A few of the chasers have said it was good to be able to work the summits on bands they hadn’t done so before . I did Cracoe Fell on Wednesday late afternoon which had some interesting rock features and monuments . Plenty contacts on 2m and a couple on 4m and 70cms.
Next morning did Sharp Haw , an easy walk but had a lot of contacts including 4m and 70cms . G4MYU , Art’ and Ian M7OUD worked me on all three bands , Ian from Skipton was up in the lakes the week before when worked him on High Street from Whitehaven .
A few pictures below.

With the HF bands being a bit ropey , I got far more uhf/vhf contacts on each fell than I did on 20 and 40m in an hour doing POTA on the way down .
