Cheers dude see ya Saturday
oo its all going down in here stuff getting setup all over the place. Nice to see
I’d mount the antenna on that end then ![]()
Gona see if I can use a pry bar to fix it.
If you have a lathe…. you could make a cone , then heat the squished end and hammer it in. But either methods are not as good / quick as cutting it off, lol
Unfortunately no lathe, may just end up cutting it off, think my brother may have a cutting disk somewhere in my shed he uses as storage.
Oh no can’t u claim Dani
My plan stacked yagi’s
3 yagi’s stacked mite get 22db of gain
Yagi stacking can work if the phasing and spacing is spot on but there can be unexpected losses when triplexing which may negate the 3rd yagi, there was a guy I knew off that did that sort of thing.. the practabilitys were predictably unpredictable due to reflections
Well. I can help with a bit of coax… rg8 or lmr400 if you must, lol. BUT I’m finding that mast head mounting of the tx is far better….. ( despite wot my maths said, and having to admit that Lee was right all along])
funnily enough i had this exact same email for some cable this week too… from seller “BestSellerForYou Store”
Adding coax with miliwatts of out put means by time it reaches the antenna the signal as gone lol. No coax is the rule 100% ![]()

I know that,Lee lol but that cable was to cut up to link yagi stack I planned on building and it was cheap…but I must of upset someone in china…and just been booted in the nut sacks.
“Adding coax with miliwatts of out put means by time it reaches the antenna the signal as gone lol. No coax is the rule 100%”
Despite the sums, and even adding a bit of mw and db…..it must be skin effect thats coming into play, that’s my excuse and will now promise to follow Lee ‘s rule ![]()
