# Start Here - CumbriaCQ Forum

Welcome to **CumbriaCQ** , the community forum for the CumbriaCQ radio network across Cumbria, the North West of England and Scotland.

This forum is here for **all radio-minded people** , not only licensed amateur radio operators. You are welcome here if you are interested in repeaters, amateur radio, CB, PMR446, MeshCore, LoRa, Meshtastic, scanners, SDR receivers, listening, radio projects, clubs, events, or just learning how radio works.

- Use **Events & Clubs** for nets, meetings, activations and club activity.
- Use **CB & PMR 446** for licence-free radio chat.
- Use **Buy / Sell / Swap** for marketplace posts.

## New to radio?

Start with the wiki and ask questions. Friendly beginner questions are welcome here. You do not need to be licensed to join in with general radio discussion, listening, CB, PMR446, MeshCore, LoRa, Meshtastic, scanners or SDR topics.

If you are not sure where to post, use **Start Here / New Members** or **General** and a moderator can move it later.
