nice, looking pretty great! Been thinking about adding solar on top of the house for a while now.
This is just my shed system. Tinkering before I go out and buy a 52 volt system to run my full house. Been looking and a windmill too.

Great installation - I have solar and Tesla battery on my house - save about 1/3rd of my electric bill every year - I have done extensive research into wind power, but all indications are that they don’t really produce anything like claimed output and concluded that it is not a viable option to add to the system in monetary terms. I am current looking at a separate plug in micro system to add another 800 watts to mount on my porch roof to supplement and bring my system up to 3.4kw - under the planning limit - so just need to let the DNO know when connected - if only there was a cheap water turbine system available as I always wanted to tap into my river which I own at back of my house. Hi Andrew welcome to the group. Yea i have seen that the windmills are poor. one brand keeps coming up though to buy to produce around 800 watts. Very windy where i am being 120m asl.
I think I may need to just bite the bullet and buy 10 500 watts panels. that the best square foot to watts ratio i can find.

I think I will go with the porch mounted plug in units - all parts included - just don’t go over the 3.8kwh limit per house or you will need planning permission and permission from your DNO - the complete plug in system keeps me under that limit. - so only need to fill a form in when up and running to DNO station the micro certification number of the inverter. I will drop you an email about the other business tomorrow- only just home been out to the pictures with my boy. 2m0aiv Andrew
