A very rough activation today , you could barely stay on your feet at the summit , but at least it wasn’t snow and sleet like on Lords Seat last week . Not really one to put the mesh repeater on as it’s got Knock Murton and Carling Knott repeaters close by either side of it and Dent is visible only about 5 mi SW .

It was a good session Lee considering the conditions , with 15 contacts five of them on 70cm , including one summit to summit from the Pennines . Don , down on the SW coast of Wales , Hugh in N Wales and Norman MI6LNP over in NI on 70cm . Had to abandon 4m because the wind kept increasing and was starting to wreck the station .
