Hello, I’m from Brazil and I have two Heltec V4.3 units. Did the hardware changes resolve the reception problems? Mine are practically unusable.

Yes the hardware changes did help improve the reception by lowering the noise floor…
However the best rx device I have tested is the RAK 1W (although you have to adjust the tx power to comply with your local laws)

First of all, thank you for your reply. I checked again and one of the units I have here is a V4.2; I will make the change to this unit. With this jumper, will it return to the 22 dBm it would have without the amplification section?
I will also look into the RAK 1W that you suggested.

It does not change the output tx, only the rx noise floor

I made the jumper on the V4.2 board and it’s much better now. It can hear much better.
Is the Rak 1w’s sound quality significantly better than the V4’s? I’m seriously considering buying one.
A bit maybe but not “significantly” but it has a higher output and saw filters for noise reduction

I bought a RAK WisMesh 1W. I’ve already done some testing and I’m very happy with it. The sound quality is excellent. Thanks for the tip.
