Hows all the meshcore projects going?

wow seems ages ago i started talking about this and have only just got around to it again !anyway “finally” ive some ME time over the next few weeks now (hopefully) ,so what would i need to get ordered up to build a node (to mess about and play about with) and ALSO separately if i wanted a repeater in the near future as i do fancy “given my location” setting up a repeater ,the down side for me is my physical ability to change batteries regularly if it was high up, i have a mast and a pole that i could get power to fairly easily if it was hard wired though.still grounded from driving for probably the next 3 months so i would need mail order ,links appreciated :+1:

After a couple of weeks with the mast down, its now back up again, lol

my solars doing well eh. fixed it the other week

Since installing a RAK 1W (it was a 900MHZ one and removed the saw filters) I’m now getting 8 neighbours.

Got a genuine 868Mhz one now so will see if it is even better.

But the big news is on my T deck+, after switching backwards and forwards between MeshOS / Ripple / Community and being pretty disappointed (for one reason or another) with all of them, I decided to have a go with https://tdeck.ubnzeek.com/ yes it costs money £15 but wow it ticks all the boxes.

However as with all things its a steep learning curve but very welllllllll worth the effort, it oozes quality

There are 3 videos all about it on youtube https://www.youtube.com/@UBNZeek

Definitely gets my seal of approval, 5 oinks :seal: :seal: :seal: :seal: :seal:

And today I’m taking my t deck+ apart and fitting a RTC DS3231 so that it knows the time without having to wait for the gps to lock.

Fail, dont ask !!!
