@Richard Been working Paul M0KXR tonight. Hes up on the hills near his house and he can raise GB3WU full scale 5/9 FM and Digital. He says hi and now he knows that he will give us a shout more often. Great contact over 100 miles on UHF.
Thats good Lee ! I’ve only worked Paul on his M0 call sign a couple of times since he got it so that’s good to hear he can get into wu . Usually GD or DG we hear him on , but he’s likely to hear more activity now.
Good to get the 4m activity from Blencathra the other day . Could easily have qualified it on 4m and even had to move off 70.45 channel as I could hear what sounded like a manx station calling.
